So, you want or don't want fey? I think they can be fun if they are played right, but others just think they're filler space. I guess that's just another example of the different tastes WotC has to deal with.

There aren't enough evil fey/redcaps/unseelie about. There's only so much you can do with good fey, but evil fey are full of possibilities. Gotta put something nasty and twisted in those woods when the bread and butter humanoids become old hat.

Quicklings are a good start for ToH, and I think the MM2 leaving out Spriggans was a mistake. Ne'ermind.

Actually dire goat ain't that bad. I think I could actually use it, too. But what about magic missile parrot?

I will definitely be getting a copy of Tome of Horrors because it is including all the monsters that WOTC somehow decided not to put in MM2.

Dire goats are cool. You should see the Dire Rhino. Someone asked for the stats on the NG boards, so I whipped 'em up and posted them. Now that is one evil Dire monster.

Since your email isnt listed, guess I'll answer here. Inside story on...??? The Tome? Basically, we (Clark and I) worked closely with WotC. They saw what we had planned for the Tome. We saw what they had planned for the MM2, FF, BoVD. Everyone made sure no one duplicated efforts. There is a handful of duplications (3-4 monsters at most) between the Tome and the aforementioned books, but no more. All is good.
