D&D 5E Monster Manual 2

Does anyone know if WoTC plans on publishing a Monster Manual 2? I am growing to really love 5th edition, despite (or perhaps because of) my old school tendencies. I hope more monsters are on the way.

No announcements of MM2 from WotC as of yet, but there are third party, 5E-compatible products either out or on the way.

The spring miniatures set is called - Monster Menagerie.

Kind of hoping the Spring AP follows the same theme and is full of new monsters. The APs are the only thing we know that is planned on a regular schedule.

The APs are the main source of official new monsters. My main unofficial source is all the other monster books I already have or will have soon (PF Bestiary 5)

For example: Tome of Beasts

I second the recommendation to check out this book. You still have a few days to get in on the Kickstarter, if you want to go that route rather than waiting for the book to be published. It's being done by Kobold Press, so the people involved have worked closely with WOTC in the past and have experience designing monsters for D&D 5E. It should be a nice-looking book, as well.

Yeah, I use Fifth Edition Foes just about every adventure, and from how its looking, I'm sure Tome of Beasts will be the same.

I do think it's only a matter of time before there's an MM2, though.

One of the recent surveys WotC posted asked about what sort of products that we're interested in seeing. Additional monster books polled highly, apparently, so it's a safe bet that we'll see another Monster Manual within the next 12 months.

I'm sure they'll print a MM2 - eventually.

What I'd really like is a book of humanoids. Sort of an expanded section of what's at the very end of the MM.
