Monster Manual II Art Gallery!

Nightfall, Not sure I agree with you on this one- you can't look at a few pics and use that to say that the MM2 will be using CC1 monsters....shame though, I would like to see a few of them done right. (But then I hear there is a revised CC plasnned?).
Oh, and BTw- the Ethereal Slayer looks V. Nice!

WotC already said (somewhere) that there are a few CC monsters in the book. And yeppers- there is a revised book planned. How do I know? Hmmm....well, let's just say I know the person (very, very well) that revised it. :D

Will the revisions be available online for those who do not want to buy the book again? (Sorry if it is too early to say anything definite about this issue, but I'm curious.)

I'll readily admit that I am no artist, but the Crystal Dragon should have stayed hidden. IMHO.

Nightfall: I think you're seeing things regarding the Blade Demon (or maybe you just want to see things? ;))

The question on my mind is not about the quality of the pictures, but the quality of the layout...

Is MM2 going to be saddled with the same, awful, text-flowing-everywhere layout as the original MM? Or is there a real danger that the pictures will line up with the creatures and it will be easy to use the MM2 as a reference book? :D

Cheers

Mhh. Up to number 127, we have "normal" monsters. From 128 to 137, we have templates.
138 to 144 is a "gap", no pictures to see.
146 to 163 show normal monsters as well. Are these monsters in any way special?

The # 122 unearthed by Johno is likely to be the Twig Blight.

From the positioning of the Doppleganger in the alphabet, I'm willing to bet that it is called Elder Doppleganger.
