Is there any way to get the stats for things like the steel (Greyhawk) dragon that have appeared in the the LGJ without being a member of the RPGA or knowing one in the area?

Frustrated on this one...

AFAIK, the only way I know is neither legal nor practical, it involve a peer-to-peer software, and lots of luck...

That sucks!

I don't mind downloading stuff to look it over before buying, but I like to support my hobby with my dollar...

no kidding! nearly all of the files i've downloaded are books that i have anyway, or ones that are long out of print.

The ones I have are either downloaded from WotC (such as the Maztica Boxed Set) or impossible to get a hold of othervise (such as the old Dark Sun Campaign Setting).

I wan't the damned Steel Dragon stats as much as anyone, but I have faith, cause the new Draconomicon is coming this autumn...

the steel dragon, IIRC, is in the original draconomicon. also, found something in there you might like - a dracohydra!

So is it supposed to be in the new Draconomicon? Or is it just a hopeful guess?

I have a high-powered steel dragon npc in my campaign that's the father of one pc's half-dragon love child, who was kidnapped, indoctrinated and taken to the Plane of Time. I'd like to convert him, but things like the breath weapon....???
