You're mad. Mad, I say. One of the most memorable adventures I ever ran was a 2E one where the PCs when aurumvorax hunting. It was awesome, and those things are nasty: a 6 legged, 6 foot long, 500 pound very angry badger that you'd normally give a wide berth, except it happens to be treasure with claws.

I'm shocked an appalled. They might as well have rounded out the idea by having it, upon death, turn into levitating coins that slowly rotated in place. It's the cousin of the chocolate bunny and power-up mushroom!

The Sheet Phantom

One of the silliest monsters I had ever seen, till I read the Ecology artilcle and suddenly it was real undead threat.

Now you take that back, dammit! My father was ripped apart by a chocolate bunny, and ever since then I've sworn bloody vengeance against those cocoa-based ruminents! Aaargh!

*gnashes teeth and shakes fist in impotent rage*

Dude! the arumvorax was my first character's First magic item.

You skin it and wear it's hide for an AC bonus, that doesn't cause spell failure :)

It was hard to fight, mean as all get out, and nearly killed our rogue, fighter, and cleric, but damn if it wasn't snappy for dressing!
