So how many monsters are there in this book and what do the CRs max out at?

How is psionics handled in the book? From a few post, seems that it got the short end of the feat stick.

Monsters and Psionics...

The highest monster CR (without templates) is the Great Wyrm Force Dragon at CR 76. Though even that can be increased with the virtual age categories for dragons.

....Dracolich pseudonatural paragon great wyrm force dragon with 13 virtual age categories anyone??? <shudder>

Not counting age categories for dragons, there are 58 monsters and 3 templates. I can't wait to ge to throw a Worm that Walks at my party...GUAHAHAAHAH!

As to psionics...well, in a way they got the same *exact* treatment as magic. Basically, rename the metamagic type feats to give them psionic flavor (and use the info given to determine power point cost), rename the other magic-type feats over to psionic-type feats and throw around words like "Epic Power" instead of "Epic Spell" and you've pretty much got the gist of it.

The Psion and Psywar are both extened into the epic range, but none of the psi prestige classes are (I think that would be a nifty web enhancement, IMHO).

There are over 60 creatures presented. The most powerful is the Great Wyrm Prismatic Dragon with a CR of 66. Psionics gets enough to go into the epic levels. None of the classes is done very good, just certain cliched versions of them.

My bad. I looked in the wrong spot on the Force Dragon (looked at the advancement range). Yer right...Great Wyrm Prismatic Dragon is the highest at 66.
