I would like to see my all time Favorite Thri-Keen, dark sun style (more like centaur insects instead of the Bipeds shown in the MM)
Yes please!

Although having thri-kreens as Large creatures is problematic in certain situations, I still prefer the more insectoid appearance in 2E to the biped thri-kreens in 3rd Edition.

I wonder how a truly quadruped design would work. Sure, thri-kreens would lose multiweapon fighting... but it's a well known fact that praying mantises are awesome.

For me, I'd really want to see Half-Orcs (this will be the big thing to draw me to D&DI), Orcs, Githzerai (esp. if there's Githyanki as PCs), Lizardfolk, Aasimars (or the new analog for them, with the thematic change for Tieflings), Goblins, Hobgoblins, Pureblood Yuan-Ti (at least), Ogres, Half-Ogres, and Trolls.

Half-Orcs aren't going to be in the MM as monsters or PCs. I wish I knew where I read that. Apparently they'll be showing up on D&DI fairly quickly.

Half orcs were asked about at the I-Con fest on LI. The person posing the question told Mearls "I have a guy in my group who will only play a half-orc!" Mearls said he could mod the orc entry in the MM as there is no half-orc.

What about other forms of elves? Like Grey elves, Copper elves (aka wild elves), Sun elves (aka High Elves), ect? Perhaps that was a bit much, b/c then we get into the different Dwarves: Duergar (which we should keep imo) and Gold. Also the different Halflings (which I feel are also unnessesary): Lightfoot, Gostwise, and Strongheart. And Svirfneblin Gnomes!! (one of my favorite)

I do agree on Drow and Aasimer though. I'm a little concerned about the Genasai: earth, wind, fire, water... they may be unnecessary.

What y'all think?

They are pretty much making sub-races (other than eladrin/elf/drow and dwarf/duergar) cosmetic changes.

Genasi are the Forgotten Realms Player's Guide

I imagine the Drow should be in there as Eberron Drow are most certainly playable characters in many cases.

Judging from the way they changed the way the planes work, I have the feeling Genasi are going to see some kind of background change before we see them updated.

They have disguised themselves with the code name "Eladrin."

To the OP:
+2 Str, +2 Con might be the safest bet as you suggested, since they aren't full Orcs and it would seem most Humans will not have the genetic predisposition towards being beefy like I think Orcs generally are these days.
Blood Reij looks quite unbalanced. Perhaps just +1 to damage when bloodied would be more fitting considering comparative Dragonborn and Tiefling racials? As well, Intimidation Aura might be reduced to +1, like the Elf and Half-Elf auras.
To compensate this nerfing you might make the Half-Orc movement speed 7 (as you offered) and give them an automatic weapon proficiency...?
Just ideas. :)

I agree with everything. Just note that the reason I made Blood Reij so powerful was because it can only be used once per encounter for 4 turns. Maybe if I made it once per day? OR I can just do what you said and make it a +1damage when bloodied without the activation of the ability, passive if you will. I like movement 7 for him, elves get 7 b/c of swiftness, Half-Orcs can get 7 b/c of pure bruteness. Perhaps Weapon Prof with orc double axe?
Another thing I was thinking about was reflecting the Human side of the Half-Orc; which is horribly underplayed IMO. If Half-Elves get a choice of power from another class, perhaps Half-Orcs should?
