Tam-tam-Taaaaam! *eerie sounds all around*

Maybe Monte is setting up Søren Keis Thustrup as a alias, so he can continue write for RPGs after he migrates into literature. Sort of like how Stephen King introduced Richard Bachman. *gasp*
LOL

Now, we'd need Søren to show up here. I can tell you he is definitely a real person. Apart of Monte I mean. And not a Clone either. Unless they have Clone facilities in Denmark I don't know about... assuming the original Monte has something like the Dual Personality feat or a Bluff of +25 or ... you know...

tuh-tuh-tuhhhh! :D

Far beneath Legoland is a top secret research facility where they churn out Monte Cooks by the dozen. The Montes are stored in a seemingly derelict aircraft hangar in Arizona. There has been one case of a Monte getting out. He assumed the name Monet Cook and even managed to take control over Monte Cook's life for one day. After a great showdown one Monte Cook emerged and the other one dropped into a vat of acid. To this day we do not know if it was the original or the copy that got destroyed. -And now it has happened again!

Oeeeeeeeeeeee Oo

I'm pretty sure I remember Monte saying he was done except for his World of Darkness and "one other smaller product."

I don't remember where I heard this, or when, but it's ringing a lot of bells for me. Assuming I'm not just smoking crack and he did say this, or something like it, I imagine this module is what he was talking about.

It's not just you, I recall the same thing and that's what I thought of when I heard about this.

Will the real Søren Keis Thustrup please stand up?

You rang...?

Nope, Søren Keis Thustrup isn't Monte's nom de plume. And it was written in January/February this year as a collaborative effort between Monte and yours truly.

Monte Cook writes, Erol Otus does the cover art, and John Cooper does the editing? Isn't that the holy trinity of RPG products, or something? :)

Looks like a product I'm interested in, even if I don't use it as a whole.

Ditto!

What is that little round thing with the hag face in the lower left of the Erol Otus cover blasting the furnace golem? A gnome?

Grinding Monte's creativity through the crucible of John Cooper is a thousand kinds of awesome-- depending on the level of editorial oversight, of course.

Your holy trinity leaves off arguably the most important member, especially for this product: The Cartographer. How's Jeremy Simmons? Is he a Christopher West or Ed Bourelle? (Not judging, don't know!)

At any rate, I think you'll have to drop the Holy Trinity reference and expand it to... the Four Horsemen?

Definitely gotta pick this one up-- but I want it in print!
