Dungeon Crawl Classics consciously attempt to evoke 1E/BD&D goodness. To complain about them having retro names is like getting irritated that donuts are sugary.

If I recall correctly, most of the "raw elements" of the Random Dungeon Namer were either pulled from 1e... or Goodman Games.

It was not really a complaint.
