I am so buying this.

Only by the time you get finished with it, the map will be arranged, not in concentric rings, but as a series of infinite sequential rooms strung ribbon-like on a Mobius strip...

And full of the hungry dead.

I swore off Cook after the horrors of running RttToEE but an Otis cover may be enough to get me to check it out.
Tssch... He was asked to write an adventure like that. He made that quite clear when being asked (somewhat obnoxiously at that) about it at Viking Con (Denmark).

As for the naming, it was all about the old school flava. It took a while to come up with one that wasn't taken.

Over at Monte's we had suggestions about "Lazy Susan of Eldritch Might". My own take there was a tagline. Vault of the Iron Overlord - 360 degrees of whup-ass.

Edit: Oh, and I dread the editing power of John Cooper!

Well, having read (and proofread, and edited) Vault of the Iron Overlord, I can tell you that it's a pretty cool adventure. It is tied into a specific kingdom, but that's very easily changed to fit nearly any campaign, as there aren't a whole lot of specifics that will need altering if you do want to plop it elsewhere into your individual campaign world. And really, the main draw of the adventure is the inherent coolness of the multiple-ringed, rotating dungeon levels. When Jospeh Goodman first contacted me asking if I was available for a DCC proofreading/editing job, I told him I was pretty busy and would probably have to give it a pass. Then he told me it was a Monte Cook adventure and gave me a brief description, and I couldn't pass it up. :)

And yes, I hope the stats as published are perfect as well, Whizbang Dustyboots, possibly even more so than you do -- I've got my reputation as a statblock nitpicker to worry about! Still, it's always nice to be able to apply my "unofficial errata" to a product before it hits the printer, and I'm fairly confident that these stats are going to be pretty strong.

Obviously, as I worked on the product I won't be reviewing it, but if anyone else wants to give it a "Cooperesque" look-through once it's released, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

In any case, congratulations to both Monte and Søren for a very interesting adventure.

Grinding Monte's creativity through the crucible of John Cooper is a thousand kinds of awesome-- depending on the level of editorial oversight, of course

Yup...we might be seeing the Adventure Module of the ages here.
