1) Cthulhu-esque music? I have audiogalaxy. Any suggestions?
Plenty of music could be used! I suggest something a bit ethereal or ironically sinister, like Tom Waits (Watts? I can never remember) songs like 'The Black Rider'. For your modern games, stock up on some industrial music, too.
2) 1920-30s or modern day?
Depends! You could honestly put the Cthulhu setting into any time period. I myself was attempting to start up a game set during the turn-of-the-millenium Crusades. I'd prefer modern day, though. Best to work with a setting one is familiar with, so as to inject the unfamiliar.
3) Is math really all that important because i suck at it.
No more important than it is in D&D 3e.
4) Online sources (i have) but what about cool newpaper clippings or photos?
How about looking through some Giger paintings?
5) How should i get them together (i guess it depends on the setting now doesnt it?)
You're right! Does. This is a little too broad. It would depend on the focus of your campaign, really. Keep in mind, you don't have to adhere strictly to the Mythos, either.
6) To Cast A Deadly Spell and Witch Hunt were movies based on Cthulhu. Or are those too cheesy?
Haven't seen 'em. I'm only including this for completion's sake.
