Forgotten Realms Laeral Silverhand Explorer’s Kit will be available in stores everywhere on March 17, 2020!

Let Laeral Silverhand – Open Lord of Waterdeep, centuries-old archmage, and daughter of the goddess of magic – guide you on your path to adventure. The new kit includes eleven dice placed in a durable, felt-lined box that functions as two dice trays. Those are some pretty dice. Not sure if I'm interested, though I might get them for my wife as they are her favorite color.

Are the dice metal? I just got the Ultra Pro Heavy Metal 7dice set(the black and red with the ampend in red) for 61 bucks after tax, and I'm gonna be super sad if I could've gotten the same thing in a different color and for less with this.

Still like it though.

These look plastic, I think this set has more similarities to the avernus set than anything else.

Every release can't be the next big thing. If the new book is indeed sandbox adventures I'd be pretty ok with it. FR is my sort-of every other campaign setting anyway, especially waterdeep, so if it ties in that's cool.

This would have been a GREAT product at 5E's release. Now? I don't know. I doubt those index cards are all that useful at this point. We'll see.
