Ah, but that would require, apart from getting a license, a major redesign of spell system and magic item creation.

Never really thought about it but the setting is original enough. It would be an interesting setting. hope someone thinks about it soon.

mmmmmm very good indeed.

Salutations,

It would make an interesting rp game, and could be done with d20.

I would think a more point buy system would be created- since players could create their own classes.

Hehe -- I kept harping on this a while back in the publisher's forum hoping that someone would notice and talk to Bethesda. I also think it would be a great idea.

It would be better as Tamriel d20 or Elder Scrolls d20 though, as you'd want to have more of the world covered than just Morrowind, no?

It would indeed be a cool world to play in. I actually like the idea of creating custom classes.

I agree that I would want the whole world, not just the continent of Morrowind.

Now if only someone would talk to Bethesda about this....

I'll throw in my vote that this is a world that sells ideas, and that's what I want in a setting. The basis is good, the world is developed as if it was meant to be role-played through, and the mechanics in the game are not entirely too far-fetched for PnP gaming.

If Bethesda ever recieves the license, I'll definitely try to add my support in whatever way they need (advertising, testing, etc.)... just ask :).

I sent them an email earlier today inquiring on the odds of seeing a pen and paper rpg on their works.

Time to sit, wait, and hope.

Edit: The response I got was they got some inquiries on the matter, but they are hesitant until they find someone who will make sure it is "really, really well done".

So- it sounds like they are up for it, but have not had any good offers. It is time to figure out a publisher we would like to work on it and begin to flood them with emails to make an offer. ;)
