No one will have heard of this one: The Face. IIRC, he's pre-Golden Age. He has an ugly mask and his wits and thats about it to fight crime.

The first Daredevil (Not Matt Murdock, the other one--YES, there IS another one) had only a boomerang, a colorful costume, and his wits.

The title panel clearly shows an unadorned pump shotgun, and a panel immediately thereafter shows an infrared-scoped double barreled shotgun.

Yes, I know it's only a really stupid and irresponsible continuity error, but thats the whole point--it's stupid and easily avoidable.
