Mosquito as a familiar

I have an insect-based druid/sor PC who wants to have a mosquito as a familiar. What kind of bonus do you think it would give one as a familiar. Would you even bother to stat such a creature?

I wouldn't bother statting out an actual-size moquito.

Now, a giant mosquito is another story. It would require the Improved Familiar feat, since only animals are normally allowed as familiars. (You can always houserule out that limitation though ... you're the DM. :))

Anyway ... until the Tome of Horrors 3 comes out (which has stats for giant mosquitos) I'd just use the stats for a giant bee or some other Medium-to-small vermin with about the stats you're looking for, and replace the poison attack with a blood drain (1d4 Constitution damage) attack. Instead of a Sting attack, it would have a bite, of course. :)
