It may not be your fanciest trick, but it sure do end up making a lot of rolls with it!

I didnt include all the skills (obviously), but I hope I got most of the obvious leaders. Let me know if I didnt!

Feel free to choose more than one.

I thought about asking what was the best skill for a character of any class--in other words, you end up using it a lot whether you're a wizard or a barbarian. I wonder if the question posed that way would result in different answers.

Due to my campeign being on a flooded world- swim comes up a lot.

Other then that- Spot is a classic and the rogue tumbles every chance he can.

Good points. I probably should have included Concentration and Tumble. Oh well. I don't seem to have the privilege of modifying the poll now.

Probably not a big deal... Tumble might have been popular, but Spot still would've ruled the school.

well, up until recently, search (i play a rogue). But now that ive got a +24 at level 10, i just tell him im taking 10 on search. No more dice rolling, and i can find just about anything.

Tumble for me... I've got enhanced mobility, so I get a +8 to my AC vs. AoO's caused by my movement. I'm untouchable.

...

...and by all this I mean my character.

ahem.

Jump, Diplomacy, and Heal should come off the list. Combine Move Silently and Hide into a single entry.

Tumble and Concentration need to go on...

Of the campaigns I am involved in, the top ten are:

1. Spellcraft (an enemy can't cast a spell without everyone wanting to know what it was)
2. Search
3. Concentration (if only because of the large numbers of critters with reach)
4. Spot
5. Listen (once per door per adventure!)
6. Tumble
7. Sense Motive (why do they always assume my NPCs are lying to them?)
8. Knowledge (any) (players always try this when they are stumped)
9. Hide/Move Silently (my game is not heavy on rogues, and my DM has nerfed this ability for about 15 character levels now...)
10. Gather Information
