Most impressive young people acting these days?

Of course, he did Garden State during a series hiatus, and a lot of TV actors enjoy doing that. You get the best of both worlds that way: a steady TV paycheck and the ability to do any movie project you feel like in the off-season.
Yeah, but only a few were able to make successful movies while they do their TV stint, like Jennifer Aniston. You like at many of the successful full-time film actors and actresses, and their bio include just a short-lived TV career.

As for the two Smallville actors, Michael Rosenbaum is most likely to succeed over Tom Welling, despite his comedy film Sorority Girls, although not American Pie, it's a whole lot better than Dude, Where's My Car?

Who else is almost always worth watching?

Wow, 21 posts and no one has mentioned Keira Knightly... Just truned 19 a few months ago. (26 March 1985) She done pretty much something of everything, and I've never been good with comparing said actor/actress to other actor/actress so I just leave it as my next wife... :p :D

Knightly does seem very popular, doesn't she? Kinda like a modern day, female actor who was popular back in the day, eh?

Yup, sorry for the vagueness on pinning down the actress she mimics...

Not vague at all! I knew immediately that you were making a comparison with old what's-her-name...

I had read on the net that Bryan Singer is now actually considering Tom Welling for the role of Superman in the new movie now that he took over from McG.

Lindsay Lohan is good in comedies. I'd like to see if she can handle a dramatic role.

Amber Tamblyn and Rachael Bella are both good in the few things I've seen them in so far.

Scarlett Johansson has good range, as does Sarah Polley.

I'd love to see more of Summer Glau, Alexis Bledel and Gigi Edgley.
