Most Memorable Game Sessions

Do you have a game session you would consider your most "memorable" either as a player or a DM?

As a DM I think mine would be a pick up game I ran once at Origins 96. It wasn't that great of an adventure, mainly a dungeo crawl.

What makes it stand out to me was the group that played the game. I'm amazed how well the group worked out given it was comprised of random people who happened to be walking past the water coolers and saw our sign for a random D&D pickup game. (AD&D game in the corner over by Beastman.)

Our DM ran my girlfriend and I through a dungeon full of monsters that were 3-5 CR higher than us and we just disassembled them. I even took a swing at a partially trapped CR 20 daelkyr at level 9 and almost hit him.

By the book we'd have gotten enough XP to go up 7 levels.
