Most underrated feat(s)

Jack of All Trades. A +2 bonus to ALL untrained skills? Are you kidding me?! It says something about how combat-focused D&D 4ed is in that this is allowed and, I would assume, isn't taken by everyone.

Its an ok feat, but I don't know that its necessarily a particularly good one. It doesn't make you good at skills, it makes you less terrible, but still often very mediocre.

Heck by the higher levels even skill training doesn't necessarily make you good at skills; having the right stats does. It doesn't matter if you have perception trained as a sorcerer for example, you're going to have a lower perception score than the avenger with it untrained, by virtue of your much lower wisdom.

And most skills you don't need to have everyone in the party good at, as long as one or two people in the party are good at it (and some skills you don't even really need anyone good at ...)

Definitely a good feat, as long as you can justify meeting the pre-req. Int is something of a dump stat in PHB 1. Certain classes thrive with it, though.

I'm going to put forth "Sure Climber." Full move speed climbing with a bonus to do it? Yes, please!

Actually, for a Bard, I find it's very difficult to pass up Jack of All Trades, unless you plan on picking up a bunch of multiclass feats.

Skill training feats in general are overlooked as well. I play a warlord with one multiclass feat for Perception, and 2 skill training feats for Stealth and Acrobatics, disobeying conventional wisdom to pick up bastard sword and weapon focus.

Movement enhancing feats are often underestimated too, Mark of Passage is great, Fleet Footed is down right important for a defender in heavy armor. Any free shifts you get from feats are great, like Stalker Spirit Adept. Combinations of Mark of Passage with Overwhelming Strike/Power of Skill, or with Footwork Lure/Trickster's Blade Style are a lot more effective at the game table than they appear on paper.

I can't understand how some adventurers can go through life without Quickdraw (or some item/power/third hand that allows some free shuffling of items). If there was a Quicksheath feat, I'd probably take that too.

The warlock feat Starfire Womb - it somehow rarely gets mentioned when people are talking about radiant characters, many of which synergize pretty well with Warlock. Roll a free save every time you hit with a radiant power? I think I just found true love (don't tell my wife)!

Mounted Combat/Mark of Handling. Mounts are freaking awesome and can add a huge amount of flavor to a character. You're plenty vulnerable on a mount, so they're definitely not unbalancing (especially after a couple of mount changes in today's Update). They're just fun and incredibly varied.

Please explain (the reason I ask is that I'm putting the final touches on a 5th level deva avenger and am trying to figure out what to spend my last feat slot on: right now it is either Shadow Initiate, Jack of all Trades, or Expertise (I already have Improved Armor of Faith and Fullblade Proficiency). I'm thinking Expertise can wait as it doesn't really get good until 15th level, but am torn between the other two or something else. I don't see how Mark of Passage and Overwhelming Strike would be a great combo.

Expertise at epic tiers, and the +4 to a given defense feats.

Some people think that there are better options still.

What feats give +4 to a given defense? I didn't see that.

Because you would shift 2 instead of one which, by default, lets you shift the opponent 2 into the square that you vacated.

There are six Epic feats to increase the three NADs. Three of them increase the defence by 4, and the other three increase the defence by two and add a bonus to specific saving throws.
