Movement enhancing feats are often underestimated too, Mark of Passage is great, Fleet Footed is down right important for a defender in heavy armor. Any free shifts you get from feats are great, like Stalker Spirit Adept. Combinations of Mark of Passage with Overwhelming Strike/Power of Skill, or with Footwork Lure/Trickster's Blade Style are a lot more effective at the game table than they appear on paper.

Please explain (the reason I ask is that I'm putting the final touches on a 5th level deva avenger and am trying to figure out what to spend my last feat slot on: right now it is either Shadow Initiate, Jack of all Trades, or Expertise (I already have Improved Armor of Faith and Fullblade Proficiency). I'm thinking Expertise can wait as it doesn't really get good until 15th level, but am torn between the other two or something else. I don't see how Mark of Passage and Overwhelming Strike would be a great combo.
What feats give +4 to a given defense? I didn't see that.
