Most useless book ever?

Huh. I'm actually about to grab the 3.5 Psionics Handbook. Any haters giving it away?

all D&D psionic books have problems - 1st ed was very random and encouraged cheating to be useful. 2ed could be over the top powerful - or amazing useless. 3ed - very weak and nearly useless. 3.5ed Psions make really good artillery, fun, but not my ideal of what psionics should be. Still I like psionics and it will remain a part of my game.

So what's your most useless book ever?

I tried to think about it, but I cannot really answer: I use all my (not many) books enough so that none of them is close to useless. It's just that I have never been stupid enough (so far) to buy a book compulsively, I'm always very careful before spending my $ on a RPG book, and always require myself to borrow it or preview it at the shop first.

Since I kept seeing FATAL come up on various RPG boards, I decided to check it out for myself.

Ah, but I didn't buy Synnibar ...

I did. I payed money for it intentionally. Just to say that yes I own a copy, and also to threaten my players with.

Something along the lines of "Go down to the kitchen and bring your DM a soda or I break out the Synnibar book! Don't make me use this! I'll smack you with its unrepentant wretchedness! Don't make me put it on your bookshelves and let it copulate with your other books. I will! And yeah, another diet coke would be good."
