Movies That Never Get Old

These pretty much lock me in no matter where in the story I happen upon them

The Fog
Tremors
The Thing
Re-Animator
The Big Blue
The Frighteners
The Great Escape
The Fifth Element
Young Frankenstein
Master and Commander
On Her Majesty's Secret Service

Whenever I find any of these movies on television, I am compelled to watch them all the way through to the end:

The Princess Bride
Being There
Full Metal Jacket
Dr. Strangelove
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
Clerks
Pulp Fiction

I can't think of a single movie that I'm this way with. I know people who can watch a movie over and over through out a week and not care.

There are certainly movies that I really enjoy and love to watch, but I'd never watch them twice through or even twice in the same week (unless I'm hanging out with the previously mentioned friends who happen to like watching the same movies over and over again).

Here are my top ten (based upon what I rewatch over and over again)

Repeating many already listed:

The Wizard of Oz,
Star Wars (A New Hope)
The Princess Bride
When Harry Met Sally
Toy Story I & II
Star Trek II: The Wrath of Kahn

and add to that list:

The Blues Brothers
The Adventures of Robin Hood (Errol Flynn version)
The Shawshank Redemption

Amityville Horror 3-D. Since getting the DVD I've probably watched it 10 times. I just love that thing.

The Dunwich Horror. Again, this is one of my most watched DVDs for some reason

Prince of Darkness

The Thing from Another World

Big Troulbe in Little China. FMC shows this a lot

Movies I can watch over and over again and still be entertained? Wow, there's a lot, but I'll try to list as many as I can remember of the top of my head:

Conan the Barbarian
Star Wars Saga
Indiana Jones Trilogy
The 13th Warrior
Lord of the Rings trilogy
Dumb & Dumber
The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly
The Princess Bride
Most James Bond movies (although there are a few notable exceptions)
Ben-Hur
Ronin
The Matrix
Alien
Aliens
Highlander
Ferris Bueller's Day Off
The Punisher (yes, you heard right. :) )
Airplane
Caddyshack
Happy Gilmore
Old School
Princess Mononoke
Spirited Away
Braveheart
Gladiator
The Last Samurai
Rocky IV
The Mummy
The Mummy Returns
Sin City
Pulp Fiction
Kill Bill Volume 1 & 2
The Karate Kid
The Karate Kid Part II
True Lies
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
Die Hard Trilogy
Rambo Trilogy
Predator 1 & 2
Army of Darkness
Office Space (I loved this movie when it first came out, but it's gotten ten times funnier since I started working in an office environment)
Dazed & Confused
Fast Times at Ridgemont High
Dirty Work
The Fifth Element

I'm the same way, I generally need to wait months before watching something again. I find it next to impossible to watch the original SW movies nowadays, because I watched them so much when I was younger.

About the only things I've been able to watch repeatedly of late are The Matrix sequels, but that may have come to an end.
