Multi-class House Rules. Suggestions Requested.

How is it expressly forbidden? It says you may not retrain "feats" that are a part of your class, path, or destiny, it doesn't say race...
Technically "predetermined by your class" does prohibit it, but a reasonable DM would not.

It's still true that, in the one case of the Eladrin, the PC may be punished for making a good roleplaying choice, since his new skill must be from his class list.

Anyway, the other half of my objection stands: it's silly to consider a Wizard who isn't trained in Arcana.

I actually prefer not having characters gain all the features of two classes, but I agree that a) The multi-class feats need to be adjusted in cases where they don't grant access to paragon paths (like for the ranger), and b) Paragon multiclassing is weak, asking you to give up 3 paragon features in exchange for the opportunity to swap out an at-will.

I'd rather see the paragon multiclassing adusted to just give a relevant action point-based feature and the most important class feature not given by the multi-class feat. So, for clerics and paladins, that would be channel divinity, for wizards it would be the spellbook, for fighters it might be combat superiority, a choice of "presence" for the warlord, the ability to curse someone for the warlock, I would probably make hunter's quarry a paragon multi thing and let the warrior of the wild feat give one of the fighting styles, and likewise for rogues I might swap sneak attack to paragon-level and have the feat give a choice of rogue tactics.

Your right. I'll edit it so that one of you at-wills has to be from your second class.
I'll also add that if you already have the feat from the ranger weapon tyle, you can instead choose any other feat you qualify for.
As or some one who is a wizard without arcana training, call yourself a sorcerer. They don't require actual training.

Each class is still missing at least some of their features, but I am considering reducing the class handouts some.
