Until the big ol' nerf in the revised DMG, of course.

On topic, I allow people to have levels in anything they qualify for, as long as there isn't an obvious reason to disallow it, such as to organizational PrCs that belong to organizations that are trying to kill each other off.

I generally take things on a case by case scenario. As long as it makes sense for the players character concept and its not too overly powerful or abusive of the rules it's fine with me.

Is that directed at my Spell Power comment? Is stacking Spell Power really going to be disallowed? I haven't seen that, but I must say it makes a lot of sense.

PS

I was going to vote 'not if the PrC's have conflicting flavour text' but I reconsidered. Even then, you can have story reasons for a certain multiclass choice. Take Red Avenger and Ninja of the Crescent Moon, for instance. I'm sure we could come up with dozens of reasons for a combo between these two.

I only went for the last, because really, I'm not going to ban anything, if it works with the character's concept. I'd rather see a character with a strong concept and levels in 5 prestige classes that make that concept work than I would someone who chooses class/skills/PrC/feats based on what gives the most plusses.

Same here. As a DM I would go along with it, even if all munchkin-ed out PC can take down the rest of the party. Throw him in the middle of the mix all the time and have the rest of the PCs bail him out. Pretty soon they will be (hopefully) operating as a team no matter the level or PrC, IMO.

I base my restrictions on multiclass on if it fits both the character as played, my world, and the story. It must fit all three or it is not allowed. Since it is customary in my group to get approval for Prc at or near character creation I have a lot to leadway to fit things in or tell the player that no that won't work for this campain.

Anything goes, as long as they meet the prerequisites. If it fits the character's concept or development then I'm all for it.

The only thing from this list that I really get too concerned with is the "flavor text" compliance. I allow any number of PrCs as long as the character meets all prereqs (which I may add to) and they can be combined in any way that makes sense for the character in question. Of course I also only allow a limited list of PrCs in each campaign to begin with.

If they fit, I have no problem with multiple PrC. In fact, I have a bladesinger who is also a weapon master. If it fits, go for it.
