Drop the $E, it wasn't funny the first time 1 billion times ago.
I wasn't being funny. I was being dead serious. And did I say there was anything wrong with that? They are a business, are they not? Are you telling me that profit is not one of the goals of releasing this new edition? If it's not, I'm sure Hasbro would like to hear about it. Do you think they were planning on taking a loss for the good of the game? Thinking that the business model of releasing several splatbooks and core rulebook IIs is not partially motivated by the desire to create a continuous stream of revenue is naive. That's what businesses do. And again, I didn't say that there was anything wrong with this. It's actually the first time I've ever typed that, it seemed an appropriate response. Why does it bother you so much any way? Would you be as upset if I were to refer to a certain software company as Micro$oft? There's no difference. And before you go all off on that. I'm not saying that there's no difference between WotC and Microsoft, I'm saying that there's no difference between the concept of inserting the $ into their names.
