You want to "pole" us? That sounds dirty.

Are you willing to offer candy, at least?
Very glad to see I'm not alone.

Attacking X number of times per day at +100% damage (which often seems to be the difference between at will, encounter and daily, 1x, 2x and 3x damage, respectively) is more powerful than not doing that. Its certainly more powerful, than say, getting +1 to AC and a -1 to penalties if you're wearing chainmail.
Bonuses don't seem to be included in the double/triple damage for encounter/daily powers. If your basic attack does 1d10+5 points of damage, I'm not so sure spending a feat to do 2d10+5 1/day (an encounter power upgraded to daily) is a better option than getting +1 to AC all the time.

:1: I think mixes will be better handled by using a third class that covers the concept.

:2: For example, if you want to make the fighter/wizard type of character, just make a swordmage instead.

:3: Maybe we will see the most classic combination of classes as whole new classes.

So it'll basically be like Castles and Crusades, is what you're saying. ;-)

I think the problem lies in making every class mechanically equivalent in order to pull the "everything can multi-class with everything" endeavor off. My understanding so far is: you never truly multi-class, you only swap power, skill, and feat groupings. I think this is an error born from player/customer desires and is similar to 3e's error of attempting to make every monster a player race.

Being level 20 fighter and level 20 wizard at the same time is not multiclassing... it is gestalting (is that even a word?). Sure you aren't quite as powerful as two seperate characters, but you are certainly more powerful than a level 20 fighter or a level 20 wizard individually which would mean if grouped with non-gestalts such a character would be overpowered.

Oh an please don't tell my fiance I got poled.... ;)
