Multiple foes with gaze attacks

Hi,

If a group of PCs are fighting four rasts, for example, do they need to make saving throws vs each rast's gaze attack or just one or two? They can't meet the gaze of all of them in a round, surely?

Cheers

One save per creature with a gaze attack. Why would it be impossible for a character to see four creatures in six seconds, when he's in combat and needs to stay aware of what's going on around him?

What MarkB said. You get the benefits of seeing all of them (since they don't get total concealment from you), so you have to take the negatives too. Remember, you can take the option to not look directly at a creature (in which case you would only have a 50% chance of having to make the save) or to completely avert your gaze from a creature (which does give it total concealment).

That's one of the days when I'm sad I can't invite some guys for a drink.

Now I have to kill these whiskey bottles by myself.

Roll your Fort save against Massive damage, bottle.

And the prize for "post from furthest out of left field" goes to ... DARKLONE!

Medusa archers with Scout levels.
Not as good as rogue levels. Rogue levels means you get the sneak attack damage vs. the targets you have full concealment from, whom you can full attack. Scout levels means you still have to move and attack to get the benefit, so no full attacks.
