Multiple Immediate Actions?

If two people want to use an Immediate Action, who goes first?

If the answer is, "they go simultaneously," then what happens if one of the immediate actions would otherwise prevent the other? Does it matter?

Since it's not spelled out in the rules, it's up to the DM. If both want to go first, I'd just use an initiative roll.

I think I'd use higher initiative modifier, and in the event of a tie, roll.

I would have them take effect at the same time. I can't think of an example of one immediate action preventing another immediate action from going off if they take effect at the same time.

The point of them going off at the same time, is that they go off at the same time. So there is no way one would be able to disrupt the other (disrupt as in "prevent it from happening").
