Munchkin in Target!

Today's Daily Illuminator mentions that Target stores will now carry the award winning Munchkin card game.

While I already own plenty of Munchkin cards, there is mention of these being 'special sets.' I'd also like to support a product that I enjoy.

Kudos for the folks over at SJ Games for getting one of their products into a mainstream store. In my experience, they have a good track record of creating great games. I'm still anxiously awaiting the new edition of Ogre.

I was also excited to find -after poking around on their website- that there will be a 'deluxe edition' of Munchkin due for release this year. It should be out around the time of my birthday, so I may have to throw some hints the way of my family and friends. I'm curious if Target will carry it.

Huzzah! Another example of how the lines between hobby gaming and mainstream gaming are becoming blurred. Congrats to SJG for making their way into that market. The public's gaming habits will never be the same . . .
