My birthday cake also has an RIP for my NPC baddie

One of my players brought over a birthday cake for me that says Happy Birthday Steve and RIP DEVIS (the back from the dead bard gathering other former foes of the party for a big group revenge attack)

Is that a good thing?

When the Pc's return let the villagers get them a ckae, now trhe harvest is in/have time to prepare etc. Have the cake say "Congratulations and RIP Devis". Then Devis vaults fro mthe cake in his full lichiness and orders his undead villager to attack!
