Over the next few days I intend to:

1) Upload the Reth pics and reformat the Monsters pages.
2) Update the maps page with all maps so far.
3) Start a new 'topic' - your suggestions are welcome.

Morrus,
I've been working with everyone to get workable rough draft of DF that works with the text.
Once I have everyone's ok, I'll make a pretty looking version, so you might want to hold off posting
any of my older versions of the world maps as they are most likely inaccurate.
ie: Scales are off, things are miss-labled, the world isn't flat, etc...I promise It won't take too long to
complete one everyone gives me the go ahead. So far BurnedMan and GreyOne oked, but I'd like a couple more folks to ok it, just to be sure everyone is represented.

Well, let's think reasonably. Most gamers aren't going to be so eager to work on political or city material; they'll be drawn more in by crunchy bits. I think the first new topic for the new boards should be rules-based somehow. Maybe ask people to write up stats for whatever existing NPCs we have mentioned. We can provide a list of NPCs, their general class and level, and let people submit stats.

We need to respark the interest in this setting, so something as mundane as coming up with regional feats would work. Feats are fairly easy to make, and there's a lot of room for dozens of feats to be submitted.

Any writing-intensive topic should probably wait until we can renew everyone's desire to work on the project.

I agree with RW, something a little less specific to pull more outsiders into DF.
I'm not sure the divine spellcasting issues got resolved, (meaning are we using stock D&D rules or a slight variation) but how about working on Divine Feat skill trees for each of the patrons. We could even add new feats.
Laying out a few feat progressions could help give each clergy a seperate and distinct feel at lower levels and specific goals to attain along their class progression. The skill trees might even make good prerequisites for presige classes specific to each of the patrons (ie: te Paleguard)...

1 Get the focused casting rule official, wasn´t it voted in? To get arcane magic out of the way, rules-wise

2 The alternate domains that were made were never uploaded or approved or anything, did people waste their time or those or should they be checked out?

3 next topic?

Feats (maybe special feats as in WoT which require "two feat slots" to function, to represent someone able to tap the divine).

"We need to respark the interest in this setting, so something as mundane as coming up with regional feats would work. Feats are fairly easy to make, and there's a lot of room for dozens of feats to be submitted."

Well it´s a "light" subject why not. Maybe it could be done as the spellcontest, ie a prize for best feat?

how do the WoT feats that require two feats work? How more useful are they?

I'm not sure how WoT works two feats into one to "tap the divine" but at that point, it sounds like you might just be in "spell" territory and the character would simple be better off taking a level of cleric or sorcerer. On the otherhand, perhaps there could be a way for characters who aren't clerics to gain a granted power (two feat/feat) from their choosen patron (or perhaps simply a divine bonus to specific ability, with limited usablity, say 3/day)?

BTW, Who is doing the write up for focused arcane casting?

I already did, but it's on the old boards. I'll see if I have it still saved on my computer, but not tonight, since after work I'm going out to my game.
