My Father has went into surgery for Triple Bypass Surgery

My father had a quadruple bypass in 2001. I wish you and your family, especially your dad, the best. I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers.

Thanks everyone. I just got back from the hospital. Here's an update.
When I got to the hospitial Dad had just got out of the OR. See, they had only planned to do xrays, an mri and blood tests today. However, the results showed he had 99% blockage on the left side of his heart and 95% on the other (or something like that -- I'm not medically inclined). So they rushed to an emergency proceedure - planning to do a triple bypass.
The ended up doing a quadruple bypass.
I saw my Dad twice. The first time he was completely out, but the second time he was actually starting to come out of anastesia, though he was heavily sedated. Despite that he could nod yes and no to questions.
At this time he is in critical but stable condition. I'm trying to wind down so I can get some sleep now, going to get back up to Lexington in a few hours.

Whenever Dad gets to kvetching over his altered circumstances, remind him that dead people can't gloat over their son's misadventures.

Glad to hear he came out of the surgery well.
About fifteen years ago my dad went in for angioplasty and ended up with a quadruple bypass. After he recovered he felt better than he had in years, and he's still going strong.
I have no doubt your father will do fantastically. I'll send some good thoughts your way to speed him along.
