First Post
so... this weekend I had my first try with 4e playing 2 combats with my nephew and his friend (a dragonborn warlord and a warforged figther).
The first combat was a level 1 encounter, with 4 kobolds minions and 1 kobold skirmisher.
The second combat was a level 4 encounter, with 6 kobold minions and 2 kobolds skirmishers.
Some considerations learned with this experience:
1 - Examples of combats are a good way to introduce players in the system.
2 - shifty is a hell of a power!!!
3 - The main function of minions isn´t causing damage, but give bad effects to the players, as combat advantage.
4 - One of the best moments was when in the first combat, the dragonborn, after a series of bad rolls, and with only 6 hps, used his Inspiring Words to heal himself and said "Let me inspire myself." pointed to the kobold marker and repeated "you´ll die! I gonna kill you" some times. hehehe
I am anxious to get the whole group together and start playing.
