Firebolt
Evocation [Fire]
Level: Sor/Wiz 9
Components: V, S, M
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: 360 ft.
Area: 360-ft. line

You release a powerful bolt of fire energy that deals 1d6 points of fire damage per caster level (maximum 25d6) to each creature within its area. The bolt begins at your fingertips.
The firebolt sets fire to combustibles and damages objects in its path. It can melt metals with a low melting point, such as lead, gold, copper, silver, or bronze. If the damage caused to an interposing barrier shatters or breaks though it, the bolt may continue beyond the barrier if the spell’s range permits; oherwise, it stops at the barrier just as any other spell effect does.
Material Components: A flask of Alchemist’s Fire and three Tindertwigs.

Geez, las! You got it goin' on here!

I have a huge list of homebrewed/converted spells as well, mostly a little odd (wall of honey, delicious aroma, omnivore, etc). Spells are one of the greatest things- it's not too difficult to make a new one, and it adds a lot of flavor to the campaign when most wizards or sorcerers have a few the pcs haven't seen before! Plus, if they hang with Marius the chronomancer and then get the 'Marius' spells (M's moment, M's sidestep, M's double actions, etc) they feel a connection to the campaign- "Hey, we know the guy who made that spell!"

That spell is way cool. Thats the kinda stuff a hard core evoker would be pround of!

I wouldn't agree on the tips about your first spell, all spell levels are precarious, 0th maybe more so. This is because of the balance between save resistance and damage.

Kimber’s Icy Rain
Evocation [Cold]
Level: Sow/Wiz 9
Components: V, S
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Close (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels)
Targets: Two targets/round
Duration: Concentration, up to 1 round/level
Saving Throw: Reflex half
Spell Resistance: Yes

The caster call down cold energy that forms large drops of cold rain. For each round the caster concentrates, she targets two creatures, structers, or objects with a drop of cold rain that causes 1d8 points of cold damage per two caster levels (maximum 5d8 ); a Reflex save halves the damage. The caster can target different subjects each round or the same subjects over and over. The caster, however, cannot target the same subject with both cold drops at the same time in the same round

Force Field, Greater
Evocation [Force]
Level: Sor/Wiz 8
Components: V, S
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Personal
Target: You
Duration: 1 round/level (D)
Saving Throw: None
Spell Resistance: Yes

Greater Force Field causes 2d6 points of force damage +1 per 2 caster levels each round to all creatures within 10 feet. If this spell fails to effect any creature with spell resistance the spell ends.

Force Field, Lesser
Evocation [Force]
Level: Sor/Wiz 4
Components: V, S
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Personal
Target: You
Duration: 1 round/level (D)
Saving Throw: None
Spell Resistance: Yes

Lesser Force Field causes 1d6 points of force damage +1 per 4 caster levels each round to all creatures within 5 feet. If this spell fails to effect any creature with spell resistance the spell ends.

Whats about these three.

I think both of these should have the area descriptor instead of range.

I think this is unneccessary for both versions. The spells look great otherwise. Keep it up!
