If that's really not possible (you've got a big head, or the players are cowards or idiots, I've seen both), and the chair can't be switched off... you can try the usual talking.
Just don't make it an ultimatum. Tell them your opinion, then back off and play. the, Final Warning is bad. Final Warning or what? You quit DMing? I don't think they will like that

Well said FenesRemember, it is a roleplaying game, not chainmail. No one should need to become a master tactician if he just wants to play a carefree rogue. As long as everyone has fun, why bother changing it?
