D&D 5E My Quick and Dirty Tasha Read

From the PHB:
Again, read the first sentence, then the second describing "does not add" means, and you get a different interpretation than if you
From the PHB:
Yes, I went over that sentence by sentence just above. And broke down multple readings of it.

And you ignore that and quote it and bold part of it.

I mean, why not reply to me actually talking about it?

If you want to address my position, read ny position. Don;t reply to me objecting yo your claim of "Features of the same name don't stack when you multiclass" (which is false, there is bo such rule) with a quote ... which STILL doesn't say "Features of the same name don't stack when you multiclass".

If you want to talk about readings of the actual rules, I have a breakdown of 3 different readings of that extra attack stacking multiclass rules and justifications why all are reasonable just a few posts up.

Thanks.

Personally, I'm tempted to replace their "cantrip and weapon" feature with the new one for the Bladesinger.

I know people will say that it infringes on the Bladesinger to do so, but the only Bladesingers at my table has been one guy who wanted a multi-classed monstrosity for huge AC. He literally only took 2 levels for Bladesong, had some rogue, and I think maybe fighter? I stopped paying attention to what his build was fairly quickly.
It seems like the proper and better way to have a gish attack and cast cantrip spells honestly.

Honestly I don't know how giving the Eldritch Knight the Bladesinger's Extra Attack errata would step on the Bladesinger's toes: The Bladesingers get Bladesong and Eldritch Knights don't. And if your gonna house rule the Extra Attack erratta in, then that means that Eldritch Knights can do the same thing but with a spell once they hit level 18. Still balances out by having the Bladesinger being able to cast level 9 spells. The Eldritch Knight is still stuck at 5th level spells.

I like the idea that an Eldritch Knight can have four attacks and can spread it out like Attack, Cantrip, Attack, Spell. Or Attack, Cantrip, Cantrip, Attack. Etc, etc, etc. If you do that Extra Attack errata house rule anyway. That feels more gish like as well.

Eldritch knights are really bad at filling the role of an arcane gish in 5e. That change to them would be good, but overall still wouldn't fix the main issue of them being too much of a fighter. At least they would be good with that change, though.
True. At this rate the Forge Adept Artificer is the closest thing to that.

I wonder if such an errata should also be applied to the Valor Bard and the Forge Adept/Battle Smith Artificer as well.
