My Table Rules (Revised and Updated!)

If it solves the problems that you run into on a regular basis, then I'd say you've done your job well. However, some things just feel like a waste of paper.

Don't Cheat? Don't damage my things? Let me know if you're not going to be here? These aren't house rules you should have to establish with anyone you let into your house. I think this is something assumed by all players when they walk through the door. I know you game with people you've never met before and due to that you think establishing these rules are necessary. Even still, it feels a bit much.

This document begs a lot of questions. How often does your roster change? Have simple social mores been broken every single week? I think you'd go a lot further by telling someone outright when they act poorly than write something like this.

I gotta be honest. If I moved to a new city, looked up a group, and got these rules handed me first thing. I'd see it as a red flag.
