Denial of Service Attack from angry D&D fans?

Denial of Service, probably, but not a hostile coordinated attack I don't think.

They just misjudged how much load their site would require, or how much would be placed on their servers by "zero hour" audience size.

It's a huge mistake to put a countdown on a site and not have a really good load balancing plan.
