Myth: The Fallen Lords

The Thayan Menace

First Post
I could be mistaken, but I have this vague recollection about an old issue of Dragon that contained a statistical summary of creatures from the video game entitled Myth: The Forgotten Lords.

Does anyone know what issue this was?

Also: Would anyone happen have to statistical conversions of Myth monsters for 3.5?

I just did a search through my Dragon CD-ROM Archive and couldn't find any reference to this. Sorry, but it seems like you may be misremembering. Can you offer up any further clues? A name of one of the monsters might help.

No, I remember this article myself, it was after the Dragon Archive was released. Unfortunately I don't have my 2e Dragon mags with me, only brought the 3e ones with me too uni. Best I can say is its somewhere between 1998 and the release of 3e, since I started in 1998 , Can't even remember if it was late in that time or early.

Okay, it took some hefty online searching (since my 2E issues of Dragon are in the attic, including #251-273), but I think I found what you're looking for.

There was an article about the game in issue #261, titled "Dragon's Bestiary: Myth: Foes of Muirthemne", written by Peter Whitley. It had the following monsters: Barrier Wight, Fetch, Ghol, and Trow.

Does that sound like it?

Myth: The Newly Rediscovered Fallen Lords

Yes, I believe so ... but, alas, that is 2E.

It is as I feared.

Now, if I can only find some kind soul who has converted these foolish monsters to 3.5, that would definitely be the E-ticket response.

:)

Seriously though ... thank you.

Ok maybe not helpful, but I know there was a Gyrps sourcebook for Myth that covered TFL and Soulblighter It was pretty good.

If there are any Gurps to D20 conversion rules, youre set.

BTW Myth except for Myth 3 roxxord. One of my favorite games of all time.
