Narnia Movie.

With the financial success of LotR and Harry Potter another 'literary fantasy classic' is going to come to the big screen.

There is no hint about how faithfull to the book the movie is going to be. Both HP and LotR seemed to try to stay to the message of the books even if some of the details were changed. It will be interesting if the Narnia movie will follow the same pattern.

IMHO, I cannot get excited if the director of "Shrek" is behind it. But we'll see.

My reservations may be off base if the director (of Shrek) was not to blame for its failings. Rather the source of the failings of Shrek were from the usual industry BS of 'too many cooks in the kitchen' when none of the 'cooks' were even 'cooks'. :)

Who knows, hard to tell sometimes.

I loved this book and cartoon as a kid. I bought the animated movie last year, and I'm looking forward to a movie. I'll keep my fingers crossed that it will be handled with care, and not just thrown together like some other fantasy films we could name (ie. D&D movie). ;)
