As an aside, one of the abilities WoD Werewolves can select is silver claws, for just such purposes. Activating them hurts like hell, but not as much as it hurts the other feller. Alway thought that was cool.
Honestly, another part of the rules where sticking to 3.0 rules may yield more reallistic and satisfying results.
I am slightly struggling with the concept of a 'realistic' fight between werewolves or iron golems.

And I find werewolves being vulnerable to silver rather than magic (ie every weapon in the game after about 3rd level) much more satisfying.
