NC Game Day XIV (September 22): Cuz' GenCon Just Wasn't Enough!

It's mostly one-shots on one day; We did have a two day event once.

Not just once! We've already had our second annual 2-day Game Day this past April and we've got the third planned for next April. And there are going to be a CRAPLOAD of cool folks there based on the discussions I had at GenCon.

GM registration and event submission is currently ongoing. We open it up for player registration this coming Friday.

LOL I think I was at one game of one of 'em so my memory is hazy on it...

oh, will it be at noon on Friday for player registration? I was able to get off from work for this GameDay! woohoo!!

At this point I'm hesitant to say noon. I've got a job that morning and I'm worried that I won't be home by noon. I'm inclined to say either 5:00 as we've done it in the past or maybe back it up to 3:00 if folks would rather.

Given the choice of 3:00 or 5:00 I'd say stick with 5:00. Friday at 3:00 puts me smack in the middle of trucking my kids around town. With 5:00 at least I have the possibility of remembering to sign up. In the carpool lane, even if I remember, it's for naught.

I've put up my Kobolds Ate My Baby game that I'll be running in the afternoon. Speaking of which, I'd like any locals who'd like to playtest it to sound off, as well as any out of towners who's like me to reserve them a spot. I'm saving places for a couple people already but I want to accomodate as many people as I can.

I'm going to be traveling down with The Universe and Queen D and wanted to know where "resonable" hotels/motels might be located? Note that "reasonable" meets fairly inexpensive and close to the event.

Bad News!

Bad news, everyone. Another con I am working with has scheduled a last minute meeting on the weekend of this Gameday. It was a tough choice, but I have more responsibility with regards to that con and had to choose them.

I'm sorry that I couldn't get this information earlier. I had already playtested my game and everything.

Hopefully, I'll see everyone in January (if it's not on the last weekend, which is already booked).
