Necro/Judges Guild featured in new ENWorld Player's Journal 4

bought the book, don't care about the journal frankly.

Why might that be? You're not an evil doppelganger, are you? Bent on world domination? Because if you are, we have discounts for potential world rulers. :)

Anyway, I too wish the ENMag got more discussion than it does. You'll usually see one or two posts a month on the main board by people discussing Dragon, and I'd figure a post once every two or three months for ENWorld's own magazine would be kinda cool. We're trying to make the journal be what the readers want, and we really don't get much specific feedback.

But hey, if you say you like the journal, that's enough for me. We aims to please. However, if you're not interested in the magazine, but you're willing to offer a moment of your time, could you tell us what you would be interested in seeing?

No, i'm just evil bent on ruling the world but that's on standby for now :D

as for your last question as to what I want in a magazine? I really don't want anything much more really. I got dragon that gives me some good ideas for PC's and some DM things, dungeon which gives me adventures. I got BOZ and the CC to give me monsters out the yingyang, the settings can't be done on y'alls mag (Greyhawk) so I guess I am just am saturated right now.

Maybe if you had something on the new TLG setting I might look into it, but for all intensive purposes I am D20'd to the hilt :D

The biggest problem to me is lack of exposure. I haven't seen it for sale anywhere except online, and I keep putting off a subscription, but that will likely change around Christmastime. (Plus a few back issues.)

One thing that struck me: For all the complaints ranging around in the Dragon and Dungeon threads, lamenting the change in style of the old magazines, HERE is a magazine that SCREAMS old-style Dragon Magazine - the cover's look is identical to the old Dragons from about issue 10 to issue 75, with the same kind of articles. :)

Uh huh... and?
2) The Player's Journal isn't available for sale in my area, so it gets a big "meh" from me.

Yeesh.
A subscription doesn't cost that much, and you can get it mailed to your home.
Not available in your area? Yeah, right!
Feel free to pester your FLGS to carry it. They can order it through Goodman Games. Easy.

Easy does it, sparky. It's not. I'd like to flip through it before I buy, thankyouverymuch. And how does one pay? Is it paypal only? *shrug* Beats me. See Henry's post above about lack of exposure. Besides, as Leopold notes above, I'm d20 saturated, so it still gets the big "meh" from me.

The LGSs in my area have long since decided what publishers they will order products from. Goodman Games isn't one of them.

Look, I'm d20'd out too, but I really like this mag, for the reasons I stated above. Right now, my d20 purchases have narrowed, but they still include the ENWPJ.

I understand wanting to leaf through the magazine first. What's weird, I guess, is I'm lucky enough to have found shops that carry it in different regions of the country.

Scorpio, yeah the cover rocks. That is the cover for our upcoming Judges Guild Wilderlands Campaign Setting (see at www.judgesguild.com). When I told Joseph at Goodman Games that we could put it on the cover of the ENWorld mag he freaked out. Which, of course, is understandable. It is a great cover and as I mentioned before Dragon has never even had a Frazetta cover. So ENWorld Player's Journal has done something TSR and WotC were never able to do!!!!
