[Necro] Tome of Horrors teaser

Unless of course you put "Core Rulebook" on the cover. ;)

:D Nope.

The cover (excluding the company logo) says the following:

"Tome of Horrors"

and at the bottom (where Core Rulebook should be :D):

"A Folio of Fiends, Malevolent and Benign"

Two tributes on the cover alone (Tomb of Horrors, and the 1e Fiend Folio :D)

And no "Core Rulebook" stamp.

The flumph is not a favorite because it is a great monster. Actually it is a super cheesy monster. That is why it has such a following. Heck, you turn it over and it is helpless. People are being a bit tongue in cheek when they go nuts about the flumph. Scott and I put it in the teaser for kicks, not because I think someone who doesnt buy into "flumph mania" will think the monster is cool. :)

Ye gods man, this looks outstanding.

But NOVEMBER? :(

NOVEMBER?!?!?!?!

That's like a million years away. :( :( :(

If it's at the printer now, I want it in my hot little hands tomorrow! :) :) :)

Looks really good. Was wondering where is the list of monsters that are in it, or at least the partial list Estlor in this thread has mentioned. I was wondering if Orcus is actually in it? I know that maybe a stupid question, though.

Yes- Orcus is in it. :D (So are several other demon lords, princes, arch devils, etc.)

EDIT: Bushfire posted the links before I could. :D Thanks Bushfire.

We also posted the cover (front and back). You can check it out on the main page of our website. Note that the image includes extra space for the binding and wrap around of the image on the cover of the book--which means that the large bronze strip around the book will actually be very small as it folds over the edge of the hardback (hopefully that makes sense).

If there is one type od rules supplement I love, it's monster collections. And this looks to be one of the best I've seen. My next D&D purchase will, of course be the Monster Manual II, but, as I am currently short of money, the next purchase after that will likely be this book in November. Looks like you did some fabulous work, Scott!
