D&D 5E Necromancer Games - 3 5E books announced!

That's why I gave you a link. It doesn't matter if it's closed or not, the public updates and messages are still visible.
I saw it, but I have no idea of how kickstarter works, or what info can really be gleaned from that page.

I'm eagerly awaiting this product. The monster book especially. The spells, while intriguing, i'm afraid they're going to bring some unbalanced wonkinesss, so i'll have to be very, very careful about introducing spells. I won't let players cherry pick. The adventure book, well, that could be good or bad, but i'm still curious. But it's mostly the monster book i'm excited about.
I too am thinking these will be cool books. From the sounds of it, they have "some of the best names in the business" (so-to-speak) in on this project, so I expect these books to all be useful in some way or another. Time will tell.

I'm disappointed that we haven't seen more previews. They released a few monsters a while back, but it's completely fallen off the radar since then. If you have access to the Tome of Horrors or Necromancer's spellbook for 3e, you might have a good idea of what to expect. But I have no idea how much they're just updating vs. completely new.

Speaking as someone who has made previews for stuff myself, that tends to be just how it works out. You get some promotional stuff at the start. Then you spend ages working on the thing. Then towards the end, you have some real previews of the actual product. But there's a long middle where you're really just working, and there's nothing to preview unless you held back some of the early promotional stuff (which is likely out of date by then anyway).

I'm sure that's most of it. Except they had so much content, and ART already done, just ported over. I imagine, and i don't blame them, they didn't want to start posting stuff that wasn't fully 5e compliant. Because, ya know, the internet would lynch them. :)

That's a good question. I'm not sure how that works. That's why i jumped on the kickstarter in case there were no other options to pick up a hardcopy.

Hello everyone. I just discovered these books and was wondering if there is any new news/updates on the physical copies being released?
I seem to recall pre-order links on the Frog God website but I don't see them now. I might be misremembering or just recalling the Backer-Kit page for the Kickstarter. You might be able to order the books that way but I am unsure. There is a contact page for them. I would ask on it.

Most kickstarter projects I've seen, the authors use the kickstarter to do a larger print run than they can otherwise afford, often double the number of backers or more.
