You may be confusing it with Necromancer Games' Tome of Horrors, a monster book. There is no official 3E Tomb of Horrors to my knowledge, though surely there is a fan conversion out there somewhere...

I in fact was.... edited orginal post

I am looking for the monster book.

I don't thing there's an updated version. It's an awesome book, though. You should definitely buy both Tome of Horrors and Tome of Horrors II.

They are looking into doing a pdf version that is 3.5. Since it is pretty easy to "update" to 3.5 re-doing this isn't a very high priority for them. To find out for sure go back to their forum and post in the Tome of Horrors topic what your question is. I know a couple of the authors post regularly there and have done their own 3.5 updates that they may be allowed to give you.

It's too bad the Tome II didn't do more conversions there are still so many missing monsters. Especially from Mystara.

I have lately gotten the feeling that although ToH is a very popular product, all the complications of doing such product under license from WotC may have been a lot of trouble for Necromancer, and that such troubles have and will preclude any further ToH volumes with conversions of old monsters.

There was some talk of anohter book which could convert remaining monsters early last year IIRC, but I havne't heard any such talk lately. ToHII was all new monsters, and I believe NG is already planning a ToHIII which will also be original monsters.

Could be wrong though.

This, in my opinion, is one of the few books that every DM should own. It should also be a requirement to be recognized as a DM. ToHII would also be on that list.*

* If I was writing the list, that is.

Wow, that's pretty heavy requirement. Its a good book, but no monster book I'd make a requirement except maybe MM.

It's more than a good book. It's an awesome book. Packed with adventure ideas. I'd actually say that ToH and ToHII are more useful to me than MM.
