[Necromancer] The Wurst of Grimtooth's Traps™ Preview Posted!

Hi there!

Click here for a 26 page preview of the upcoming Wurst of Grimtooth's Traps™, as mentioned in this month's Dragon Magazine. The free preview contains a number of sample traps from various chapters of the book as well as an index of all traps found in the book by name and by CR so you can see just how many traps there are in the book. It also includes sample art from the classic Grimtooth books by Steve Crompton!

Download it now or Grimmy might just pay you a visit!

Have fun!

Notice that the traps come from different parts of the book and because it is a preview, there are no chapter breaks to indicate it. You can see the section they come from by the heading on every other page. The most jarring "change" from one part of the book to another in the preview is when we drop in some stuff from Traps Bazaar. I think it starts with number 11 or something. If you get confused, look at the top of the page.

Also, we wanted to include the complete index so that you can see how useful they are for one and so you can see if your favorite trap made its way into the book. Plus, I know there were some people who were worried these would all be CR10+ PC killer death traps. Sure, there are plenty of those, but we provided a very healthy selection of traps for all challenge levels.

Most of the ones we cut were the ones that used radioactivity or modern devices or were exaggerated science experiments. Not to say those arent great, but I had to come up with a process for whittling down the traps for one book and that was one of the ones I used.

No worries. I fully trust you folks to have chosen the most appropriate ones, and my comment wasn't intended as a real complaint. :)
