It neve states anywhere that they don't. AoOs are not tied to makin a full attack action.

So while it doesn't come flat out and state that they still do, there is absolutely no rule to suggest that they don't.

Granted, I have no reference to back up an argument that slowed creatures are denied AoOs, but it seems intuitive to me that they might be denied the attack, or that they are limited to only one, regardless if they are normally able to take more.

I am certainly not saying that this is the right interpretation, rather that it's always been my interpretation. Thanks for your input, JM.

Since when do Direwolves have Improved Trip? ;)

from 3.5 MM, p. 66
Trip (Ex): A dire wolf that hits with its bite attack can attempt to trip its opponent (+11 check modifier) as a free action without making a touch attack or provoking an attack of opportunity. If the attempt fails, the opponent cannot react to trip the dire wolf.

I also don't recall them having this ability in 3.0.......

They did have the ability in 3.0. But they didn't (and still don't) have Improved Trip, meaning they don't get another free attack if their trip attempt succeeds. These could have been advanced to give them another feat, or modified to change a feat to Improved Trip.

With your current feats, I would have also gone with a ray spell. Your character is still taylored for ray spells and if you look up the Dragon Article on Rays, there are a host of spells out there, not to mention some really cool feats to modify rays. That is not to say that slow is not a great choice. I would definitely look up that article before you hit 7th, though.

Focusing too heavily on rays will hurt you when you come across a horde of foes. Due to their lack of known spells, sorcerers need as much variety as they can get.

Take a look at the feats in the Dragon article.

I'm not subscribed to Dragon. I don't buy mags.

DireWolves do not have a free attack after a successful trip attempt ?

That would have changed the fight a lot. I'm gonna bust my Dm's balls... :p
