Need a PrC for a warrior that fights with a reach weapon.

Have you considered being Mounted? The Dragonrider PrC (Draconomicon) and other mounted PrC's go well with reach weapons, flavor-wise.

I considered the Dervish, but all skill pre-reqs are cross-class for me, and I do have other skills I need to put at least a point into once in a while.

Never even considered asking for a "Glaive Weapon Master" adaptation of the EWM. Nice idea, and one he could probably go along with.

Mounted combat never came into consideration. In Midnight, one cannot count on being able to have a horse, stolen or otherwise... ;)

My favorite PrC for a reach weapon wielder is Dragon Disciple. The bonuses to strength are great, and gaining natural attacks means you threaten at 5 ft as well as 10. The natural armor, wings, spells and blindsense should not be overlooked, either. Combine with Combat Reflexes and Improved Trip for extra fun.

Weapon Master (in S&F and OA)
EWM - as already suggested
Knight Protector (gives bonus AoO's as well as a variety of other interesting benefits)
Shadow Scout (if your ranger-type class offers favored enemies)

Other than those, I would second what has already been said: feats are what you need - not class levels.

Combat Reflexes
Spring Attack
Sidestep
Power Attack
Leap Attack (ahh the images of Kain are almost nostalgic)
Improved Trip (great for keeping up the AoO)
Standstill
Hold the Line
Close Quarters fighting (most creatures that don't provoke AoO's from grapples are large and have reach)
Extended Reach
The feat that allows you to get a free bull rush attempt with an attack only good for 5' (I think it is part of a tactical feat)

A few monk levels are useful for IUS (threatening 5' away) and the host of other abilities a low level monk dip grants.

2 Sorcerer levels are also not a bad dip because you can gain access to true strike and shield.

If you go for the Kain concept, definitely pick up Raptor School and if you qualify go for the diving charge. A jumping character can be quite scary. Once you jump over 10', you now worry about falling - the great thing about falling is that the damage applies to what you land on as well as yourself, but only you benefit from jump and tumble scores that reduce falling damage. When you attack as part of a charge while "falling" effectively the damage is added to the damage for the attack roll.

I'm quite surprised that you are playing a reach fighter without Combat Reflexes.

We had a reach barbarian in one of our games, and WOW could she ever hold ground in the right situation (like a narrow entrance to a room).

As you are already playing a FFG Midnight cmapaign, how about continuing the class you already have and instead going for a Weapon School. Have a look at the "Path of the Sword" Book, also from FFG which has the Jadan School for Spear training. It is no Glaive but you asked for a reach Weapon originally and this Book fits also the Midnight Setting.

Just my 2 cents...!
