Some of yeti's are obviously deadly. If you haven't run or played it in a while, T1 can be surprisingly so. The village also adds more depth then the gentle DM may first realize. Again, if there memory is unrefreshed.

The Lost Sentinel from Tall Tales of the Wee Folk. It's the best fairytale adventure in D&D IMO.
Also, if it's kids, consider using Dungeon Squad!, which is much more accessible for younger kids than D&D, whilst still hitting the same notes.
